Zip Wire
The Zip Wire is The Adventure Centre’s answer to bungee jumping. At 750ft long and 120ft high, this aerial runway is one of Europe’s longest, highest and fastest. And it is here in Newquay, Cornwall. The zipwire is a fast, high adrenalin ride that requires a minimum level of instruction, so it is perfect for a quick buzz during your visit to the beach.Your experience on this aerial runway is finished off with a 50ft free abseil down to the sand.

The Abseil
A cliff abseil lesson allows you to experience the Cornwall coast from a whole new perspective. The abseiling routes have varying gradients and unique challenges, but the ultimate experience for more advanced groups involves an abseil into the gaping mouth of a huge sea cliff looking out onto Newquay bay. Instructors will choose sections of cliff and abseiling routes to suit the conditions and your level of ability and experience.

Multi Vine

A tight rope walk with a difference – walk from one 120ft cliff across to another Place your feet on the bottom wire and grab the hanging vines in front of you one after another with your hands. You will make the petrifying walk high above the beach under the watchful eye of our instructors safely strapped into a harness.

An underground maze of dark and narrow tunnels, designed to challenge claustrophobic fears.
The mission is to negotiate, twists and turns, dead ends and obstacles in the dark.

Coasteering Half Day
This half-day Coasteering adventure involves a thrilling swim, climb and jump around the rugged coastal terrain of Newquay Bay. Our guides will take you to rarely visited nooks and crannies, where you can ride the rise and fall of the swell and test your nerves on a series of high jumps giving you a Coasteering experience to remember.

Eco Coasteering

Junior Lifeguard

Youngsters aged 8-14 years old get a taste of what it’s like to be a beach lifeguard during this popular activity. They take part in a simulated rescue in a safe and controlled environment, using all kinds of lifeguard equipment, including rescue tubes. Although the emphasis is on fun, there is a serious beach safety message and children are taught how to spot and avoid dangers, and stay safe at the beach

Minnows

This one is designed for our youngest beach visitors aged 3-8 years. Kids accompany a lifeguard for a fun exploration of rock pools and the tide line.

RYA PWC Courses

This Royal Yachting Association (RYA) course is a competency course for the use of Personal Water Craft (PWC) course and teaches the core skills needed for the safe use of a jetski and other PWCs. Course content includes launching, handling and recovery skills, passage planning and decision making, high and low speed riding skills, essential safety information, collision avoidance and orientation at sea. Price: £180 per person with own ski. £250 per person with use of a Cornwall Waverunner jetski.
